I was bitten by a recluse in the Army in SC. We were in Basic and out for our week out in the woods. It had to crawl up my BDU sleeve to bite me, never felt it. I had a mosquito bite next to it and accidentally lanced it open scratching the bite. It grew from a mosquito bite size to over a silver dollar size in just 4 days. Painful as hell and I had the black center. It was like pulling teeth to be sent out for medical, our 1st Sgt was an AH but when he saw how big it was and the black center I was taken to the hospital immediately. I got a really nasty staff infection from it also. Big painful blisters any place we sweat. These spiders are nasty!

I have noticed that DTE Energy does took over Public Lighting Department for the city of Detroit. They are putting newer street light brackets mounted on the poles along 7 Mile Road in Detroit, Telegraph Road between Puritan Road and 8 Mile Road, Harper Avenue between Devonshire Street and Morang Avenue in Detroit’s east side, etc. in the near future, even they did installed LED street lights at least 9 years ago.

I get so homesick sometimes for Michigan!! Been watching your videos for a few years now. Love all of them, especially the Macomb ones :) I just have so many memories driving those roads with my old friends when I was younger. Brings me back to a time that doesn't exist for me anymore!!

I remember the cold snap back in most of November of 2022, and we have ice on the lake, which is the earliest to have ice on the lake in November, before Thanksgiving Day.

Took the tunnel several times but I always prefer the bridge the tunnel sometime leaks and reminds me it is built underwater from Detroit to Canada..safe travels everyone..

Between December 2022 when the city of Southfield still have Sodium Vapor street lights throughout the city, but in January 2023, Southfield did changed it to LED street lights throughout the city, as shown on various videos when driving around Southfield Michigan.

I would say that vibrating noise from your camera is annoying. Maybe talk they it saying what roads you are on and get a camera with vibration control, very hard to watch and listen.

Obviously I'm a bit late seeing this video, and as a longtime Detroiter/suburbanite, I wanna say thank you for that nice smooth ride on the west side (I'm from the east, but I know theut west very well-better than the east). Dozed off a few times, but you made it there safely and efficiently. I might have some footage of my own, but it's from some years back.

For many years,my beloved grandfather worked in the auto industry,for the CHEVY CORP.AS MASTER MECHANIC.he and the family travelled many times for work .Despite the economic downturn in Michigan,it still,with the right leadership could return.A beautiful state.ty for these uploads .I miss traveling.👍👍💕
